The Erwin Hymer Museum in Bad Waldsee is repositioning itself: The permanent exhibition with its more than 80 historic leisure vehicles will be comprehensively modernized with a new concept from November. The museum will be temporarily closed for the renovation after a big anniversary celebration to mark its 15th anniversary at the beginning of November. The reopening is planned for spring 2027.
Lenzerheide Motor Classics celebrates 75 years of motorsport on the "Heide"
The mountain race from Tiefencastel to Lenzerheide was held twice in the 1950s. The 1951 race caused quite a stir in Switzerland, and the 1957 event was even part of the European Mountain Championships. After that, things became a little quieter on Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden. But since 2011, there has once again been motorsport excitement every year in the tourist, hiking and skiing resort at around 1400 meters above sea level. And as the only event of its kind in Switzerland, the 270 or so vehicles do not drive up the mountain as they used to, but instead pass the spectators several times in different groups on a closed circuit.
13th Micro-Car Meeting 2026 celebrates its 50th anniversary from May 1 to 3

After exactly 50 years, the micro-car meeting, which only takes place every four years, is returning to its first venue in Meisterschwanden on Lake Hallwil (AG). Over 120 micro cars and scooters from 35 different manufacturers are expected to attend, brought along by participants from Switzerland and neighboring countries. It is the most important event of its kind in Europe and is still organized by the same core of enthusiasts as 50 years ago.
