Almost everyone knows the Oldtimer Galerie in Toffen. Serge Stotzer has been organizing auctions for many decades and many a classic car in Switzerland has passed through the Oldtimer Galerie. For some years now, an auction at the Swiss Classic World in Lucerne has also been part of the repertoire.
On Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 16:00, many visitors to the classic car fair will once again flock to Hall 2 to attend the sales event.
Young and old classics
The auction offerings at this year's Swiss Classic World will once again leave nothing to be desired in terms of variety. Coveted super classics, youngtimers and exotic cars will all go under the hammer.
For example, an Alfa Romeo SZ ES30 from 1990 with a Zagato body and Busso V6 engine or a Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 liter flat-floor roadster from 1961 are for sale in Lucerne.
A Chevrolet Corvette C2 from 1963 with the famous split rear window, which was only installed in the first year of production, is also looking for a new owner and is offered without a minimum price.
The Ferrari 365 GTC/4 from 1973 and the Maserati Indy 4900 from 1975 are two Italian hot hatches that are reminiscent of the Ferrari Daytona and Maserati Ghibli, but are significantly cheaper, even though they can easily keep up with their even more famous siblings in terms of driving performance.
For Mini fans, not only an Innocenti De Tomaso from 1978, but also an Austin Mini Cooper S from 1967 with Bahamas Speedweek history will be on display in Lucerne.
The Aston Martin Lagonda Saloon from 1987 is spectacular; never before or since has another manufacturer dared to go after customers with such extravagant styling.
Fans of more recent classics and neoclassics can also get their money's worth in Lucerne, as the classic car gallery can offer a BMW M2 from 2024, a BMW M5 E60 V10 from 2005, a Ferrari 599 GTB from 2007 and a Bentley Azure from 1996, among others.
In addition, one of only 500 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evo IIs built has been announced.
Submit vehicles now
The final vehicle range, which is expected to include other Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Chevrolet models, will be determined by May 15, 2026 at the latest and sent out with the catalog. Catalog orders can be sent directly to the Oldtimer Galerie, but the Oldtimer Galerie website also lists all the vehicles on offer, including many pictures and descriptions.
The last vehicles can still be registered now, also directly on the website.
Anyone interested in a car or motorcycle - two Gilera two-wheelers and a Triumph T140E Bonneville from 1981 will be on offer in Lucerne - can view the vehicles directly at the exhibition grounds on May 28 (10:00 to 18:00), May 29 (12:00 to 19:00) and May 30 (09:00 to 17:00) and have their questions answered by the Oldtimer Gallery team. It is worth coming to the auction well prepared.
As previously mentioned, the auction itself will begin at 16:00 and should last around two hours. Excitement and surprises are guaranteed, not least when a Porsche 356B Super 90 from 1963 comes under the hammer as a barn find.
