Whether original Formula 1 racing cars from the BMW Sauber F1 team from the 2007 season, driven by motorsport expert and former racing driver Christian Danner in an impressive live show drive or the James Bond icon Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation as well as other outstanding supercars and hypercars, rare classic cars, exclusive youngtimers and one-offs - the entire spectrum of mobile passion comes together on this day. The setting will be complemented by an exciting auction, a PS-loaded stage program, show parking by nation, an atmospheric Motorworld drive-through "by night", numerous other attractions and a big anniversary party that will provide unforgettable moments deep into the night. Motorworld is presenting an impressive program as part of the anniversary event. The event will be an "Open Day of Mobility", where the entire spectrum of automotive culture can be experienced at first hand. In the showrooms and on the exhibition areas, the public can look forward to exclusive special vehicles, highlight exhibits, anniversary promotions and attractive competitions.
"Our anniversary is a joint success and this is reflected in the program," explains Sebastian Olsowski, Site Manager and Managing Director of Motorworld Munich. "The diversity and passion of our tenants makes this day something very special and impressively demonstrates what Motorworld München stands for - a living culture of mobility." Gerhard Kostka, Center Manager of Motorworld München, also emphasizes the exceptional quality of the exhibits on display: "Visitors can look forward to vehicles and brands that are rare even in the international automotive scene. Many of the models on display are real rarities - high-quality, impressive and can only be experienced here in this variety of brands."
The highlights of the exhibition
The extensive indoor and outdoor area will become an additional exhibition platform for driving culture. This is where partners and exhibitors present vehicles and themed special exhibitions. A variety that continues Motorworld's claim to make mobility tangible in all its facets - from historical milestones to future-oriented hypercars.
The attraction among the exhibits are two original Formula 1 racing cars from the BMW Sauber F1 team from the 2007 season. BMW was one of the strongest teams in the field that year. Christian Danner provides a special highlight. The former Formula 1 driver and long-time motorsport expert not only presents the cars, but also drives one of them around the site in person. The live engine start and subsequent show drive will create an overwhelming experience of the premier class with sound, technology and dynamics, in which the characteristic V8 sound and spontaneous acceleration will impress the audience both acoustically and atmospherically.
Another highlight is the Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation, "the" James Bond icon. It is a strictly limited new edition of the legendary Bond company car. The vehicle is a unique collector's item. It is a faithful replica based on the 1964 Aston Martin DB5. The Continuation series was produced as an exclusive limited edition of just 25 units. This model is equipped with all the Bond gadgets from "Goldfinger", including rotating license plates, smoke machine, machine guns (dummies) and other features typical of the film. The DB5 Continuation is one of the rarest and most fascinating vehicles currently on public display. A unique opportunity for fans, collectors and lovers of British automotive history.
Another crowd-puller is the show parking, which will be an impressive, multi-storey showcase of international mobility culture in the new multi-storey parking lot. Each level of the multi-storey parking lot is dedicated to an automotive country of origin and takes visitors on a journey through different nations and classifications. With gleaming chrome classic cars, modern design icons, rare supercars and lovingly maintained modern classics, the result is an extraordinary mix. The show parking becomes a lively platform: engines start, doors open and people get talking. Auction by Lisette Rosenkranz
Between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., the objects from the Motorworld Auction by Lisette Rosenkranz can be viewed as a special exhibition in the steam dome. In this special atmosphere, visitors will have the opportunity to view each vehicle and collector's item up close and in peace and quiet - an experience that is usually reserved for registered bidders only. The auction itself is characterized by a deliberately accessible price structure that appeals to both beginners and experienced collectors. With an upper limit of around 50,000 euros, the lots on offer are within a range that allows comparatively low-threshold access to the world of automotive passion. This makes the auction an exclusive event for connoisseurs, but also an opportunity for all those who want to invest in a special vehicle or collector's item for the first time. The variety of lots ensures that everyone can discover their own personal highlight. Vehicles announced without obligation include a VW Beetle with V8 engine, a Jaguar XJ, an Alpha Spider, a Mustang, an Autobianchi, a Porsche Boxter and many more.
Finally, the emotional place-to-be of the anniversary is marked by the Motortreff at night, which immerses the entire area in an atmospheric backdrop of light and sound from 8 p.m. onwards, with impressive hall passages. Effect lighting, black light and even fire breathers provide a visual experience that literally puts the vehicles in a special light. The hall passages lend the event an extraordinary magic and a dynamic component. The arriving cars and motorcycles are presented by the presenter duo Michael and Jakob Hagemann with a great deal of specialist knowledge and many an anecdote.
There will also be plenty of culinary delights. The five restaurants in the area and selected food trucks offer a wide and varied range to suit every taste. Whether it's a quick snack, a leisurely coffee break, an ice cream for the little ones or extended moments of indulgence, visitors will find a delicious selection across the entire site to perfectly round off the anniversary day.

At the end of the event, the Motorworld Inn Restaurant invites you to the big Motorworld anniversary party with DJ Bobby Evs from 9 pm.
