For nearly five decades, Rétromobile has been a winter pilgrimage in Paris — a gathering place for collectors, curators, designers, historians, and dreamers. It has been where automotive memory and modern momentum meet.
Now, this spirit is crossing the Atlantic. Rétromobile New York is not an expansion — it is a continuation, a bridge between heritage and horizon, on the road to the inaugural Rétromobile New York in November. Join us at our New York destination.
Gérard Neveu, CEO, Rétromobile New York explains:
“When we first imagined bringing Rétromobile to New York, we did not think about geography — we thought about community.
Rétromobile is not a concours d’élégance, a race, a rally or a club meeting, it is a complete automotive ecosystem. In the end it becomes the world’s most exciting pop-up garage, bringing together collectors, dealers, manufacturers, restorers, artists, and lifestyle brands, all under one roof.
To launch Rétrombile in the United States is both a strategic and natural decision. The U.S. represents the largest classic-car market in the world, with approximately 50% of global classic cars located here and the majority of auction transactions occurring in American cities or by American buyers.
In preparation for Rétromobile New York, the team has spent the past few weeks on the ground in Florida, visiting key events including Cavallino, ModaMiami and Amelia Island, meeting with collectors, partners, and industry collaborators, exchanging ideas as we refine our vision for Rétromobile New York.
We are listening. We are collaborating. We are carrying forward the DNA that defines the Rétromobile brand and adapting that DNA to suit an American audience and marketplace.
November 2026 will be a debut and the arrival at a destination. We hope you will join us!”
The Road to November
Over the past months, Rétromobile leadership has met with various players at showcase venues such as at Cavallino, ModaMiami and Amelia Island. This collaboration has resulted in several exceptional partnerships, including with the Revs Institute, to highlight exceptional cars at our promotional events. We will continue to further our conversations with partners, participants and players throughout the year, listening and improving the Rétromobile New York experience in collaboration with the American automotive ecosystem.
The Next Leg of the Journey
The road to November 2026 continues. In the coming months, we will begin unveiling:
- Curated exhibition themes
- Landmark vehicles making the crossing
- Auction highlights
- Cultural programming and craftsmanship showcases
- Private collector experiences
November 2026
Rétromobile New York will open its doors at the Javits Center in Manhattan, November 19-22, 2026 —not as a newcomer, but as the next chapter in a story nearly fifty years in the making.
