The management has decided - the Mille Miglia 2021 will be postponed by one month. The start will therefore take place on June 16 in Brescia, Italy, and the finish on the afternoon of June 19, 2021.
Furthermore, the new counter-clockwise route and the stopovers in Viareggio, Rome and Bologna have now also been confirmed.
Not in October as in 2020
Although the Mille Miglia 2020 in October brought some attractions with it and presented the rally to the participants in new colors, but also in adventurous weather conditions, the organizers wanted to start in spring again in 2021 as usual. This has now become early summer.
The president of 1000 Miglia srl. Franco Gussalli Beretta comments: "After the experience of the Mille Miglia 2020 in October, this year we will experience an unprecedented rally in early summer. The decision, which was taken in agreement with the competent authorities, was born from the desire to organize an exciting event that also complies with the health regulations in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic for all those involved."
"In the hope that the coming months will bring the definitive turning point, the Mille Miglia continues to support the economic recovery of Italy. I would like to thank all those who participate with passion and thus make an important contribution to the success of this event," adds Franco Gussalli Beretta.
