As part of the Monterey Auction, RM/Sotheby's will bring a youthful Ferrari collection under the hammer at the Monterey Conference Center on August 15-17, 2019.
The so-called "Ming Collection" includes a 1991 Ferrari F40 with only 1705 miles on the clock, which is expected to find a new owner for USD 1.5 to 1.8 million.
This is joined by one of 30 Ferrari FXXs, estimated at USD 2.85 to 3.25 million.
A late Ferrari 512 BBi from 1984 (USD 350,000 to 425,000) with only 2500 miles on the clock, a 308 GTSi from 1985 with 4000 miles on the clock (USD 100,000 to 150,000) and other mid-engine models complete the collection, which is offered exclusively in red.
In addition to the Ferrari sports cars, there are also other super sports cars up for auction in Monterey, such as a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT with a special paint job, which has only just delivered miles on the clock and is now estimated at USD 1.2 to 1.5 million.
The same applies to a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 from 2008, which has only just been driven in with 1200 miles and is now said to be worth USD 1 to 1.3 million.
