On Sunday, April 26, the history of motorsport will come alive again: The Mutschellen GP will be held for the 9th time. In order to make this event as interesting as possible for spectators and drivers, top-class racing and sports cars are already being sought to take part in the race and thrill the entire crowd.
No stopping at imaginary borders
There are no imaginary limits: the aim is to cover as wide a range of vehicles and brands as possible. Even the number of wheels is not limited! No matter whether your vehicle has two, three or four wheels - all are welcome.
The only restriction is that only historic racing cars, racing sports cars, monopostos, racing motorcycles, racing tricycles and sidecars built up to 1990 are permitted.
Information about the GP
As in previous years, the race is a mountain stage that will take the drivers from Rudolfstetten to Friedlisberg. No time measurements will be taken on the 1.6 km long route. A total of 4 heats will be held on race day. The entry fee for cars is CHF 200, the entry fee for motorcycles and sidecars is only CHF 150.
The classification jury will divide the entries according to the attractiveness of the vehicle and driver, the variety of types and the age of the vehicles. This should guarantee fair divisions for every participant. A PDF is available online for detailed information on registration. You can find it here.
No driver's license required
Since no driver's license is required for participation (driving license obligatory), private individuals who are not actively involved in racing themselves can also get their money's worth and make racing experiences. Safety helmets and modern racing suits are mandatory. This is for your safety and that of the other participants and spectators.
Much more than just a historic racing event
The Mutschellen GP is much more than just a racing event. It is an attractive opportunity to make new acquaintances from and within the racing scene, to gain new experiences and build on existing ones, and of course to broaden your horizons. As we all know, you never stop learning. The Mutschellen GP is therefore an experience for young and old.
