Aston Martin DB 5 Vantage (1965)
€
The Aston Martin DB5 was introduced in 1963 as the successor to the DB4 Vantage Series 5. Visually distinguishable only by details, the new model received the high-torque 4-liter engine of the Lagonda Rapide. A 5-speed gearbox from ZF was also installed for the first time. Comfort was enhanced by an initially optional air conditioning system. In 1964, the top-of-the-range model, known as the Vantage, was added to the range. The engine, refined with 3 Weber carburetors, developed an extremely potent 314 hp. Externally, this variant can only be recognized by a discreet emblem. The example on offer is one of just 17 original left-hand drive (LHD) cars built. It wears the "Silver Birch" color made famous in the James Bond film "Goldfinger" in combination with a dark blue leather interior. The history of this DB5, which was originally delivered to a captain in Hamburg, is very well documented. Aston Martin Heritage in Newport Pagnell carried out a complete factory restoration from 2017. Everything is well documented down to the last detail. Secure yourself one of the most dazzling cars in automotive history in unique condition with this Aston Martin DB5 Vantage!
