Alfa 1750 Berlina
From 1968 to 1977, Alfa Romeo produced the Alfa 1750 and Alfa 2000 models in Milan. Based on the Giulia, the 1750 offered more space in the interior thanks to a longer wheelbase. The bodywork designed by Bertone shows the relationship to the Giulia, but the overall shape is more straightforward and clearer. Alongside the BMW 02 series, the 1750 is one of the founders of the sports saloon class. The large Alfa underlines this with its very well-tuned chassis with rear-wheel drive and a brilliant engine/gearbox combination. The engine with 2 camshafts, also known as the Nord engine, impresses with its performance, pulling power and torque. It also has a sound full of character. In this real driver's car, the interior welcomes its driver with an equally ergonomic, timeless and high-quality cockpit.
Our example was first delivered on 19.04.1968 in Somma Lombardo. In 1986, this Alfa Romeo was transferred to a new owner. Finally, in 1996, the car was imported to Switzerland with 54,000 km. In 2020, the last transfer to the last owner took place at 64,000 kilometers.
The original service booklet and several invoices, test reports and copies of the vehicle registration document this history. The original engine was extensively partially overhauled in 2023. The next owner can therefore expect an Italian sports saloon in top visual and technical form.
