ROVER P6 2000 TC
€
The Rover P6 series was launched in 1963 and was a completely new development. Rover was a sophisticated and technology-oriented brand at the time and wanted to continue this claim with the P6. Analogous to the engine, the 1978cc engine was marketed as the Rover 2000. After an upgrade with an SU twin carburetor, this 124 hp saloon was then called the 2000 TC (Twin Carburator).
The P6 was ambitious in terms of design and quality. A DeDion rear axle and a very unusual front axle with horizontal shock absorbers bear witness to this. This front axle was intended to make room for a gas turbine engine, which ultimately never went into series production. The engine had a square design and was therefore intended to withstand high continuous engine speeds and high speeds on the new highways being built at the time.
As a result, the Rover 2000 TC is a fast & comfortable long-distance vehicle for up to 5 passengers.
Inside, the passengers are welcomed by high-quality leather seats, the entire interior exudes style, value and comfort.
The vehicle on offer is a Swiss delivery. It impresses with its excellent condition and its sensational history; the car actually only had 2 previous owners. The 2000 TC was with the first owner until around 2006 and then found an enthusiast who continued to look after this Rover and regularly invested in the vehicle. Major work such as a gearbox overhaul is also noted in the repair history.
As a result, this rare Rover is probably one of the most attractive on the market. The grey exterior color harmonizes perfectly with the excellently preserved red interior. With this Rover, you can enjoy a very rare, individual classic car that is suitable for everyday use and is guaranteed not to be found on every street corner.
