For over 30 years, seven sought-after classic cars lay dormant under dust and tarpaulins until they were rediscovered in mid-September 2022 and released back into the light of day for the first time. It's not every day that seven interesting classics that have been practically out of the public eye for more than 30 years can be freed from the dust and dust sheets! This was recently the case in the heart of Switzerland. Two Jaguars, a Cadillac, a Pierce Arrow, a Packard and an MG TF were uncovered in a warehouse. The owner had bought the seven cars at auctions in the early 1990s, probably with the intention of making a good investment. It should be noted that the market for historic cars was at its peak at the time and that CHF 250,000 was being paid for a Ferrari 308 GTS, for example. A good thirty years ago, the later pre-war vehicles of American and European luxury brands were also among the most valuable cars of all, and at that time there was good reason to hope for further price increases.
