Summary
After the record results at the Pebble Beach/Monterey auctions a few weeks ago, it will naturally be interesting to see whether the tense economic situation in Europe, and particularly in England, will have an impact on the RM auction in London on October 26, 2011, or whether record bids can be reported again. However, the list of auctioned vehicles is less superlative than the auctions in Monterey/Pebble Beach. However, with 99 vehicles - motorcycles, a Miniator car and even a coach are also on offer - valued at over £ 21 million, or € 25 million or CHF 30 million, there is also a wide range on offer in London, which may not be very attractive in terms of value, but certainly in terms of the rarity of some lots. The cheapest offer is a DKW F8 Meisterklasse Cabriolet from 1939, which is listed at an estimated price of £ 10,000 to £ 13,000, while the most expensive vehicle in London promises to be a Ferrari 250 GT LWB Tour de France from 1958, which has been estimated at between £ 2 and 2.4 million. This article shows some of the cars on offer and the full bid list, including some comments
