Artcurial organized an auction of rare competition vehicles, a selection of vehicles from the Heuliez collection and other classics of international provenance in the "shadow" of the Le Mans Classic, so to speak. As if there wasn't enough going on at the Le Mans Classic 2012, the auction house Artcurial also organized an auction on Saturday, where competition vehicles, but also an interesting selection of Heuliez vehicles, were offered alongside other classics (and newer vehicles). Healthy sales performance In the 126 vehicle sales, 82% of the offers were knocked down, amounting to € 8,495,905 (CHF 10,202,741). On average, buyers paid € 82,485 (CHF 99,056) for a car. 61% of the vehicles were offered "no reserve", i.e. without a minimum price. Few "slow sellers" An Argo 19C Group C2 from 1988/1989, an Aston Martin DB6 Vantage from 1966, the Audi R10 TDI racing car from 2007, two Chevrolet Corvettes, the Porsche 908, the Facel Vega Excellence, the Lamborghini Countach, two of the Ligier cars (JS1 and JS2), a Lola T70 Mk II, several Peugeot 405/406 cars, the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, the 1965 Shelby Cobra and the 2006 Saleen S7R racing car.
