Turin, (world) city of car design. A warm fall day in October 2017, sunny but a little hazy, the after-effects of fog rather than pollution. The Alpine chain that frames Turin is indistinctly visible. A distinguished older gentleman, neatly dressed, leaves his city apartment in a nondescript neighborhood in the morning and sets off for a long walk. Afterwards, as he does every day, he does the necessary shopping. After lunch, he takes a rest and then spends the afternoon painting or writing. He remains unrecognized on his daily walks through Turin. No one turns their head to look for him. No one knows that he is the designer who gave birth to true masterpieces. For example, he designed the Maserati A6GCS, the Ferrari 500 Superfast and the iconic Dino 246 GT! The designer's name: Aldo Brovarone, 91 years old and a key contributor to almost 50 years of automotive design! And he did so as a pure autodidact - without having studied design!
