Zurich is not normally the center of the automobile, but from October 30 to November 2, 2025, it felt that way, at least in Oerlikon.

Auto Zürich attracted over 68,000 visitors over five days, showcasing more than 80 new products, 70 new car brands and almost an entire hall full of classic cars.
Nostalgia attracts
In Hall 6, dealers and specialists showcased top-class and popular classics, as well as modern manufactory vehicles from Pininfarina, Koenigsegg, Singer and MTM.

However, it was the stands of Auto Eberhart Classic AG, Emil Frey Classics, Dönni Classic Cars, Lutziger Classic Cars, Niki Hasler, Porsche Classic Partner Zurich, Seiler Classic Cars, Swiss Classic Car and Touring Garage, as well as other suppliers, that allowed visitors to take a trip back in time with their shiny and colorful old cars, especially for classic and modern car enthusiasts.

In addition to classic cars presented in almost new condition, the Dönni also had a rebuilt SS1 to see and discuss.

New partner Broad Arrow made its first appearance at Auto Zürich, not only showing some of the "Private Sales" cars, but also drawing attention to the vehicles in the auction, which took place on November 1, 2025 in the evening at the Dolder Grand Hotel .

The three representatives, a Jaguar D-Type, a Ferrari 275 GTB and a Bugatti Chiron Sport, were the highlights of the "Media Stage", where over 20 innovations and premieres were presented on Wednesday morning.

The new Honda Prelude and, of course, the Maserati McPura showed that the cars on display are also likely to be classics of the future.

Old cars were not only on display in Classic Hall 6, but also in the new car halls. At Stellantis, for example, an Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV and a Fiat Nuova 500 stood in contrast to the new electric cars.

At Citroën, visitors could admire the ID 19 "sur Ballons", which once referred to the superior comfort features of the "goddess".

Porsche contrasted a modern 911 with an example from the 1970s.

And at Roni Kessel there was not only a classic 275 GTB, but also a 330 GTS undergoing restoration.

On the occasion of the presentation of the new Jeep Compass, Stellantis also referred to its own off-road vehicle tradition of the Willys Jeep of yesteryear, from which the "X" on the externally mounted gas cans had been adopted into the rearlight design of the new car.
Interest in the automobile
The crowds in the halls at the weekend were a reminder that interest in the automobile has not waned even in the modern age. With its tried-and-tested format, Auto Zürich allows many new products and vehicle variants to be shown in a comparatively small space, perfect for car buyers who want to gain an overview.

Finally, the Classic Hall is also an opportunity to showcase automotive history to young visitors. Of course, the presentations are not intended as a museum, but as a sales exhibition. And so one or two classic cars changed hands until Sunday evening, when the exhibition halls closed again and the big clean-up began.

Instead of long descriptions, we refer you to the extensive photo gallery , which not only shows all the new cars presented on the Media Stage, but also many insights into the Classic Hall.
