Summary
From 1962 to 1968, Maserati built the elegant Sebring coupé with 3.5, 3.7 and 4.0-liter engines. Only around 600 examples were produced and they are still popular Gran Turismo coupés today, which are still sold at reasonable prices compared to the competition from Maranello. This report describes the history of the Maserati Sebring and shows it in current and historical pictures.

Ferrari's range was also constantly expanding. Countermeasures were needed, especially because the design of the Maserati 3500 GT was already half a decade old at the beginning of the 1960s.
