The touring cars of the eighties and nineties are popular. Back then, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Opel and many other manufacturers competed in highly competitive championships. Henry Ruggieri bought around 80 cars over three decades. But instead of driving them, he stored them in the backyards of his properties. After his death, the cars came onto the market and were auctioned off by Adam Encheres. The highlight was a 1968 Lamborghini Miura in need of restoration, which was knocked down for an impressive EUR 560,000 (CHF 637,000). But a Porsche 356 and a Jaguar E-Type also achieved high prices.
