The classic car fair in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein is now an established meeting place for classic car dealers and buyers, owners and anyone interested in historic cars, motorcycles and trucks. Classic car enthusiasts from all over northern Germany and neighboring countries will find plenty of professionally restored and well-maintained classics here.
The Verband des Kfz-Gewerbes Schleswig- Holstein e.V. (Association of the Motor Vehicle Trade of Schleswig-Holstein) is involved as the conceptual sponsor of the trade fair and equips half of Hall 1 with interesting vehicles from its member companies.
The classic car club scene also makes particularly intensive use of the trade fair, which takes place on May 18 and 19, 2019, to keep their respective brand histories alive with lovingly presented vehicles.
The parts market offers trade fair visitors the chance to find missing accessories and spare parts, clothing, model cars or the specialist literature they need for their favorite brands.
For the first time, a large truck get-together will be held in the outdoor area in front of the exhibition halls. In a pleasant atmosphere, "truckers" can exchange ideas with like-minded people and present their historic treasures to interested trade fair visitors.
Police cars take center stage
This year's special exhibition entitled "Historic police vehicles" presents stories and exhibits with blue lights from different eras.
The Hamburg "Automuseum Prototyp" provides a very rare VW Papler police convertible and the last BMW Isetta still in official police service from the Stade police station is also presented.
A special eye-catcher will also be the freshly restored, cream-white Auburn Speedster in which Pierce Brosnan drove as Remington Steele in the 80s series of the same name.
There will also be driving
The popular rallies on Saturday, May 18, 2019 for the Classic Days will also take place again. Scenic routes will lead from six starting points in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg directly to the Holstenhallen Neumünster. The day will begin for the star riders with breakfast and fuel talks at our partners' locations.
Visitors arriving with a classic or vintage car can park free of charge in the Württemberg Oldtimer Area and benefit from reduced admission prices. As in previous years, the classic cars will be presented by classic car expert Georg Meyering in an entertaining and professional manner on arrival.
Plenty of parking spaces
For visitors without classic cars, there are plenty of parking spaces available on the grounds for a fee of € 3.00 per day.
Family-friendly admission prices, culinary delights and many activities in the halls and on the open-air grounds make for an entertaining visit to the fair.
The Holstenhallen Neumünster offer the right ambience for the presentation of classic vehicles: built in 1939 as a livestock auction hall, it was extended, expanded and modernized after the war. Today, as the city's own congress and exhibition area, it offers modern infrastructure and logistics without concealing the charm of the old days. The exhibition grounds can be easily reached within an hour via the A7 highway from the Danish border to the Elbe. If you don't like it so fast, you can take the numerous federal and country roads and enjoy the rapeseed fields that are still in bloom at this time of year.
The fair is open on May 19 and 20, 2019 from 10:00 to 18:00/17:00. Adults pay EUR 9.00, in advance it is one euro cheaper. Children and disabled persons, as well as classic car drivers, enjoy more favorable conditions.
