Driving in the paradise of the Alps - the clear air of the three thousand meter peaks - the murmur of the mountain streams - the chamois in the steep rock faces - the scent of the forests - the sound of the waterfalls - bends, serpentines and the relentlessly ticking stopwatch in the special stages - pure adrenaline in a rally with friends. All this is the Saalbach Classic, which is taking place for the 4th time in the Austrian Alps from August 17 to 21, 2016.
The secret of the Saalbach Classic
Who could define the secret of the Saalbach Classic better than Walter Röhrl? The rally world champion is characterized by a deep humility towards nature. The combination of classic cars and magnificent Alpine passes is something like Röhrl's ideal case. Legendary cars designed by great engineers: "It was an incredible pioneering spirit that inspired people back then".
There is also great interest from the many winter guests in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. So far, entries have been received from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. After three editions, the Saalbach-Classic has thus established itself as a very international event.
