Even the most impressive journey through time ends at some point in the present. The Vienna Classic Days, which have been turning the wonderful city of Vienna into a classic car city for almost 40 years, are now history again. But what a story: full of emotion, excitement, joy and enthusiasm - not only among the 400 participants, but also among the thousands of spectators along the route and at the stage finishes.
A look back ...
Over 100 years of automobile history with around 200 vehicles and participants from Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary and Slovakia formed a "rolling automobile museum" against the unique backdrop of Vienna. Local mountains, the magnificent Ringstrasse, Vienna's city center and the Danube Park offered an impressive panorama.
The vehicles were also impressive: pioneers from the early years of automobile construction, small fine models with little power but all the more charm, luxurious limousines and numerous cars that evoked personal memories of times gone by. The classic cars that adorned the pretty streets made even the Viennese experience their city from a new perspective and love it even more.
The traditional highlight was the parade on Vienna's Ringstrasse. The applause of more than 10,000 spectators accompanied the convoy of these rolling cultural treasures - with enthusiasm, memories and plenty of emotion. The eventful day came to an end in the Vienna Prater, after the Kahlenberg, Leopoldsberg and Cobenzl had already been climbed - quite a challenge for some vehicles and their occupants, but one that they were happy to face.
On Sunday morning, it was time to conquer Vienna! After the start in the countryside, a large crowd of spectators awaited the presentation of the participants in front of the town hall before continuing on the impressive route through the city center.

As at the start, the event ended with a waltz and, of course, the traditional classic car picnic in Donaupark, followed by an award ceremony. The applause reverberated for a long time and was not only a worthy conclusion, but also the first motivation for the Vienna Classic Days 2026.
