"We can't leave the pit lane on just three tires," say the organizers of the Schloss Dyck Classic Days. The multi-day event originally planned for August 6 to 8, 2021 has to be canceled, the situation was simply too uncertain:
"Unfortunately, there is still a very strong dependency on incidence levels and incidence figures in all regulatory requirements, approvals and preparations for holding events such as the Classic Days throughout Germany.
According to the Corona Protection Ordinance, incidence level 1 must not be exceeded under any circumstances in order to hold the festival around automobiles, garden parties, lifestyle and drivestyle at Schloss Dyck.
On the other hand, other important economic obligations would have to be entered into today and orders would have to be placed that have a lead time and are time-critical.
The event is approvable, almost all visitor numbers in the known amount were even possible this year against the background of a detailed hygiene concept, but the authorities had to reserve the absolute dependence on incidence figures that may not exceed level 1 - i.e. a maximum of 34.9. We are allowed to organize the Classic Days 2021, but in case of doubt we stand alone ...
In principle, according to the current regulatory situation, the Classic Days could therefore still be canceled two days before the event or even on the day of the event itself by an official ban due to the current increase in numbers."
Of course, you can't plan like that, so the cancellation is the logical consequence. A new date of 5 to 7 August 2022 has now been set and the event will be held in its usual high-quality and colorful form.
The Classic Days 2022 are now being driven forward with high pressure, high motivation, in many discussions, in exchange with everyone, with new ideas - also again with many content highlights.
Tickets retain their validity
All ticket holders will be contacted and informed about the possibilities of ticket use for 2022, among other things. We will also inform all participants and active participants in parallel to this announcement.
Waiting/holding out
Unfortunately, the postponement means that fans of the event will have to wait another 12 months, holding out, before the carefree fun of the classics can once again become a pleasure for everyone in the summer resort without too much distance. The organizers would like to thank the classics community for their support, goodwill and continued trust.
