The 2017 Concours d'Elégance saw some of the rarest and greatest classic cars in the world compete against each other at the Blenheim Palace in Woodstock on Thursday, August 31.
Best of Show
The 1960 Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 CM Pininfarina Superflow IV had the great honor of winning the Best of Show prize. The car had its British debut at the Concours in Woodstock and had never been shown in Great Britain before. The car will return to the USA not only with the Best of Show award, but also as Best in Class in the Curvaceous Coupes class.
Now in its 12th year, the Salon Privé attracts some of the world's most important collector cars, such as the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider. Restored in the UK in 2012, the California Spider impressed the judges and won 2nd place in Best of Show, as well as Best in Class in the Riviera Cruising class.
The Lamborghini Miura P400 won in the Evolution of the Supercar Pin-Up category and the public voted the Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider as the most beautiful car.

The first Concours Masters - Forza Ferrari!
For the first time in history, there were two Concours celebrations at the same event. On September 2nd, two days after the Concours d'Elégance, the first Concours Masters took place, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Ferrari.
Over 50 of the best Ferrari's came to Blenheim Palace to take part in the new concept of the traditional Concours. Each year, the Concours Masters will focus on the anniversary of a historic car brand or a special coachbuilder.
The Owner's Choice award went to the ex-Walt Disney 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta 'Tour de France' by Carrozzeria Scaglietti. The car impressed the judges with its Ferrari Classiche certification and its simply stunning contemporary condition. 2nd place went to the 1953 Ferrari 250 Inter-Europa Coupe by Vignale, which however won 1st place in Best Interior Pre-1970 and an award for Outstanding Coachwork.
The over 3000 guests who attended the Concours Masters 'Tribute to 70 Years of Ferrari' voted the 1964 Ferrari 500 Superfast as People's Choice.
