On December 1, 2024, RM/Sotheby's will auction 42 automobiles, which are on average 25 years old and worth a total of around USD 39 million, in addition to some luxury items. Each car is therefore expected to fetch around USD 920,000.
Ferrari dominant
With 16 cars, Ferrari (incl. Dino) is represented with almost 40% of the cars. The Ferrari cars are on average 32 years old and are expected to cost just over USD 330,000 per car. Two thirds are offered without a reserve price.
Models from the 308/328 era are strongly represented among the Ferrari sports cars. There is also a Testarossa Monospeccio, a 365 GT4 BB from 1975, a Dino 246 GT from 1970 and more recent cars from Maranello.
Mercedes-Benz will be at the start with six cars, Aston Martin and McLaren with three each. The cars from the two British sports car manufacturers are particularly young, with an average age of four and nine years respectively.
Young offer
There are 17 classic cars with an average age of 47 years on one side and 21 "new classics" (from 2005), on average nine years young, on the other.
Two valuable Pagani
Two Pagani are offered without an exact estimate.
There is the now 20-year-old Zonda 760 LM Roadster from 2014, for which bids starting at USD 10.5 million are said to be realistic.
The second Pagani is a Huayra BC Coupé from 2017, which has a documented valuation of over USD 4.5 million.
Exotics and super classics
In addition to the aforementioned Ferrari, a Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 from 1966 will also go under the hammer.
A Maserati Mistral Coupé with a 3.7-liter engine from 1967 found a new owner, as did the certainly exceptional Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III 'Flying Spur' Sports Saloon with bodywork by H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward Limited from 1964.
The most exotic super classic, however, is certainly the Lotus Eleven from 1956 as a Series 1 Le Mans model. The Mille Miglia participant is expected to fetch between USD 180,000 and 225,000.
Also worth mentioning are a 1993 Jaguar XJ220, which is expected to fetch USD 400,000 to 500,000, and a 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo "Martini 5" (USD 130,000 to 150,000). RUF fans may want to take a closer look at the 911 Carrera 3.2 from 1985.
