Summary
Bonhams was able to sell 23 of 33 cars for a total of USD 13.5 million on November 25, 2023 in Abu Dhabi on the Grand Prix circuit. While some of the announced highlights - including the Lamborghini Countach from the film "The Wolf of Wall Street" and Mario Andretti's Lotus 79 - failed to meet expectations, the few super classics were mostly sold. Hyper sports cars, however, generally had a difficult time. This auction review analyzes the results and shows the cars in pictures.

Preview (beginning of the article)
In the middle of the Abu Dhabi race track, the Bonhams auction took place on the evening of November 25, 2023 on the occasion of the last F1 race of the season. It lasted just over two hours. 33 cars worth USD 30.1 million and two children's cars went under the hammer in collaboration with the Formula 1 Paddock Club, a third of which had no reserve price. 70% of the 1:1 scale cars were ultimately sold, generating a total of USD 13.5 million, or USD 588,850 per car. The 33 cars were spread across 17 brands. Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche were represented with four vehicles, Lamborghini and Mercedes-Benz with three each.
