The fact that the RM/Sotheby's auction on March 8, 2024 took place in Dubai was evident not only from the building on Alserkal Avenue in the Al Quoz district, but also from the offerings, which included 22 automobiles as well as several watches and automobilia. Together, the vehicles were valued at almost USD 18.5 million and were on average just over 21 years old. While all the expensive cars were sold, vehicles in the six-figure range remained without a new owner, which was also due to the low "no-reserve" rate. In Dubai, people obviously don't like taking risks, but you can spend a lot of money in one day. In any case, the 16 cars sold achieved an average selling price of USD 1.05 million.
