From May 29 to 31, 2015, the Vintage Sports-Car Club Suisse will be organizing the Kerenzerberg Revival on the original track from the 1960s, which will be held in accordance with the FIVA General Rules and the Regularity Event Code. These two regulations allow a maximum average speed of 80 km/h on closed tracks - even for pre-war vehicles!
Traditional hill climb
The Mollis-Kerenzerberg hill climb took place almost 50 years ago between 1967 and 1970 and also attracted internationally renowned drivers and fast cars. Silvio Moser, for example, started in 1968 in a Brabham BT 20 Repco.
Preparing for the big event
In order for the VSCC to be recognized as an organizer by the FIVA or its national representative in Switzerland, the FSVA, or to be accepted as an FSVA member, the Vintage Sports-Car Club Suisse must organize a small event under the supervision of the FSVA.
So in order for the Kerenzerberg Revival to be held next year, the VSCC is dependent on a broad field of participants at the prologue on October 26, 2014!
