From June 14 to 16, 2024, the Kerenzerberg will once again be the stage for the Kerenzerberg Race. After the successful staging in 2022, the focus is now on the next edition of this unique motorsport event in Glarus.
The Kerenzerbergrennen has established itself as a meeting place for enthusiastic classic car lovers and passionate racing drivers. This is proven by the fact that 220 racing cars and 50 motorcycles are already fully booked.
Program with many highlights
Once again, the program promises plenty of variety and excitement for spectators. The participants proudly present their lovingly restored classic cars, which not only represent technical masterpieces from the past, but also carry stories and memories with them.
The atmosphere on the Kerenzerberg during the race weekend is characterized by a unique mixture of nostalgia, enthusiasm and the unmistakable sound of the historic engines.
The show rides, such as the world's fastest bathtub or the 150 hp APE tricycle, add to the variety. Spectators can also buckle up and thunder up the hill in a booked racing taxi ride.
The VIP tent at the Spiegelrank attracts visitors with coveted VIP tickets for an exclusive experience. Sirana Catering will spoil guests with culinary delights. A few tables are still available for Sunday.
Proven organization team
OC President Peter Rufibach is delighted: "The race will be held again in 2024 with the same organizing team. The good atmosphere and the goal-oriented and focused cooperation within the OC give me great pleasure and motivate me to organize this major event again. The search for sponsors proved to be more challenging than in previous years. Nevertheless, we can once again count on the support of important main sponsors such as Glarner Kantonalbank, Flammer Glarus AG with Garage Bucher AG, Feldmann Bauunternehmung AG Bilten and Dietlikon as well as other loyal partners, so we have achieved our budget target."
History documented online
Anyone interested in experiencing the race up close is invited to register for various volunteer positions via the organizer's website.
