The charming European city of Saarlouis will be transformed into a vibrant stage for all classic car lovers, nostalgia fans and music enthusiasts from June 27 to 29 for the Oldtimer Rendezvous.
Starting signal on Friday
From 9 a.m., the stands on the Kleiner Markt will open their doors and present a fascinating exhibition all about classic cars. A special eye-catcher is the special exhibition "70 Years of The Goddess" - the legendary Citroën DS, which has stood for elegance and innovation for decades.
Music, engines and more
On Friday, Luigi Botta will provide the musical atmosphere, while on Saturday the band The Mad Facts will rock the stage. In between the musical highlights, the pleasure tour will start and finish with a presentation of the most beautiful vehicles - a feast for all the senses!
Pro-Inklusion Saarlouis: Carpooling in a vintage car for a good cause
On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a special campaign for a good cause at the small market. There will be an opportunity to take a ride in a charming vintage car for a donation. The donations collected will go 100 percent to "Ehrensache e.V.", which offers riding therapy for disabled children. In addition to the ride, the various associations for the disabled present their diverse offers and initiatives for more inclusion.
Sunday highlights: Elegance, emotions and shopping!
Sunday promises the grand finale: the opening of the classic car stands, the international meeting, the special exhibition "70 Years of The Goddess", as well as the Concours d'Elégance - a competition for the most beautiful and stylish classic cars. For music lovers, there will also be "Oldtimer Meets Music" with Big Wave and the Bandits and Frank Palumbo. And best of all: the open Sunday invites you to store, browse and marvel!
