At the sales and event fair, Motorworld Classics Bodensee, which will take place from May 25 to 27, 2018 at the exhibition grounds in Friedrichshafen, classic mobility enthusiasts will make a big appearance. "The name changes, the passion remains." This is the slogan with which the classic car fair will be launched for the first time this year. Klassikwelt Bodensee has now become Motorworld Classics Bodensee. Not only is the classic car trade still an important topic, but the scene meeting point under the slogan 'Look & Feel' also plays an important role.
800 exhibitors - 100 brand clubs
At the exhibition grounds, exclusive collector's vehicles are on offer alongside classic cars for the small budget. Over 800 exhibitors, including 100 brand clubs and participants, will be present in ten halls covering 85,000 square meters of exhibition space. Around 40,000 visitors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France are expected over the three days of the fair. In addition to the offerings of renowned vehicle dealers and private suppliers, Motorworld Classics Bodensee also offers a full range of products for those looking for spare parts and accessories with its indispensable parts market. The range extends from automotive rarities, motorcycles and racy Riva boats to classic accessories for classic car drivers. Watches, driver clothing, classic car rallies and travel-related offers as well as various special shows such as Nippon Classics, AMG, Wankel and 80 Years of the Beetle round off the program.
Nippon Classics special show
"Nippon Classics" showcases around 50 rare classics from the land of the rising sun in style. From the Mazda, Cosmo 100 Sport S with Wankel engine under the hood of the two-seater sports coupé to rare youngtimers and classic big bikes from the seventies, everything is represented.
Special show: The work of Felix Wankel
The famous rotary piston Wankel engine is not only known to classic car fans. As part of a special show at the Boxenstop stand, the engine development will be comprehensively presented. The work of Felix Wankel from Lindau will be comprehensively presented with a large selection. Visitors to the classic car fair will be able to see exhibits that were previously unknown and have never been shown before.
Airshow with aviation classics
At the airshow with aviation classics, mankind's dream of flying can be experienced at first hand. In addition to the special exhibition of rare historic aircraft in "Hangar Hall A3", pilots take off daily from 2:30 p.m. for a half-hour airshow. One highlight is the "Corsair", a Mustang Warbird that becomes an aerobatic aircraft in the hands of the Flying Bulls pilots.
Vintage Demo Racing
The vintage demo races will once again be held on the new large circuit. Here, spectators can experience the feeling of glorious racing eras up close. An absolute must for lovers of classic racing cars and motorcycles. At the same time, racing fans can look over the shoulders of the mechanics in the paddock of Hall A6 and marvel at the technical finesse of the historic racing cars.
80 years of the Beetle
At the special show "80 Years of the VW Beetle" in Hall A4, the popular vehicles from various model series can be admired: Unique specimens from the pretzel window to the Ovali to the 1303 - from the Karman Ghia to the derivatives from Brazil.

Motorworld Classics Bodensee takes place from Friday, May 25 to Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. The trade fair is open to both specialist dealers and end consumers. The day ticket costs 18 euros, reduced admission 16 euros.
