In memory of Jim Clark
45 years ago, the Scottish Formula 1 world champion crashed in the first Formula 2 race for the Martini Gold Cup at the Hockenheimring on April 7, 1968. It will therefore always be a major concern for the organizers of the Bosch Hockenheim Historic to present an attractive Formula 2 starting field to the approximately 20,000 visitors each year. This year too, around 20 Formula 2 cars will be doing their laps as part of a memorial race.
On Saturday, April 20, 2013, fans will commemorate the racing legend with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Jim Clark Memorial (east curve). A special exhibition by Jürg Mallepell in the Glass Pavilion will round off this unique memorial event.

Top-class racing cars such as the Porsche 924 GTR will be on display, all of which have one thing in common: Some of them are equipped with pioneering Bosch components.
