Lego has been inspiring people of all ages to give free rein to their imagination for decades. Every now and then, however, the normal Lego bricks reach their limits. Lego has therefore set up a platform on which users can submit suggestions for new series kits. If these ideas reach enough interested parties (in the form of so-called "supporters"), the project can be realized.
Reader Tomas Enders has now set himself precisely this goal. He built his favorite rally car, the Audi Sport Quattro E2 from 1987, with the available bricks and has now submitted the idea to "Lego Ideas". The model, which is around 15 cm long, is already a sight to behold.
So far so good, but there is a catch: 10,000 votes (supporters) are needed to test the implementation of the series - quite a lot! At the moment, only 880 votes have been received, so there is still some room for improvement.
If you would like to support the project with your vote, you can do so here.
