The French singer Johnny Hallyday is known far beyond the country's borders. And he also enjoyed interesting vehicles. He had a 1953 Cadillac Series 62 rebuilt by the American "King of Custom" Boyd Coddington.
It was the last car Boyd was able to complete before his death. Hallyday knew exactly what he wanted and under his supervision the car was completely rebuilt into a custom car, from the ground up. Lots of chrome, a special color scheme and, of course, a huge V8 made this unique vehicle complete.
It is now being offered by Artcurial with a starting price of EUR 50,000. It will also be joined by a Harley owned by Hallayday. The proceeds will be donated to a good cause.
In addition to these two vehicles, other rarities await the bidders, such as the prototype of the Ferrari Dino, a forerunner of the Ferrari Testarossa and a beautiful Osca. The bidding battle for the 1982 Renault 5 Turbo from Group 4 should also be exciting.
Further information on the auction can be found on the Artcurial website.
A complete announcement of the auction will follow.
