In just over a week's time, the 41st Auto e Moto d'Epoca will open its doors on October 24.
In addition to the three usual themed areas for cars, motorcycles and spare parts, one of the 14 exhibition halls will also include a special exhibition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the "Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino", for which the "Mauto" - the "Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile" - will make some of its exhibits available. The exhibits include a Fiat 3.5 HP from the year the company was founded, a 12/16 HP from 1902 that was once owned by the Florio family, the 1954 turbine car and, of course, the small cars that made the Turin-based brand world-famous.
In addition, the fourth theme area this year will focus on historic trucks, among other things. For example, the Marazzato Foundation will be presenting a Fiat 18 P from 1915, a Fiat 682 N2 from 1959 and a 19060 Lancia Beta 190 with Viberti cab. For the first time, the FIVA ("Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens") will also be present with its own stand, as will the Italian branch of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club.
The VW, Mercedes-Benz, Maserati and Toyota brands will be represented with official stands, as will Lamborghini, Ducati, Dallara and Pagani as representatives of the "Terra di motori". Other special exhibitions will focus on motorcycles from Bologna, the OSCA sports car brand and the 50th anniversary of the VW Golf. A total of around 7000 vehicles will be on display from October 24 to 27.
