After many years in the cozy village center of Wangen an der Aare, the Concorso d'Eleganza Italiauto will move to a new location for its eighth edition.
On May 3, 2015, around 100 cars of Italian provenance will meet at the St. Urban monastery to choose the most elegant and beautiful among themselves.
The most beautiful in the coster's garden
A jury of eleven experts, including well-known car historians such as Roger Gloor, Ferdi Hediger, Adriano Crimarosti and Jean-Marc Kohler, will judge the competing vehicles in twelve categories. The presentation of the cars will certainly find a worthy setting in the garden of the St. Urban monastery.
St. Urban Abbey is a former Cistercian abbey in the canton of Lucerne. Founded in 1194, it is one of the older institutions of its kind. The current buildings were constructed in the first half of the 18th century. A psychiatric clinic has been housed in the former abbey since 1873.

Concoso participants can take part in a tour of the monastery for 10 francs. Various refreshment stops are provided for your physical well-being.
Excursion into the hinterland
Another popular event every year is the ride out, which in 2015 will cover around 10 to 15 km through the tranquil Lucerne hinterland.
Vehicles are not stationary vehicles and should therefore also be shown in motion. Participation is optional for Concours vehicles.
Registrations until March 15, 2015
Vehicles that are at least 30 years old can be registered now. The participation fee is a modest CHF 70 and also includes a participant aperitif and inclusion of the vehicle in the program booklet.
Registration can be made online via anmeldung (at) italiauto.ch or via the meeting website. Information can also be obtained by calling +41 (0) 32 631 20 80. The registration deadline is March 15, 2015.
Actual participation is by invitation of the organizer. Due to the limited number of starting places, we reserve the right to make a selection based on diversity and a healthy mix of former everyday vehicles and exotic sports cars/limousines.
