In the new E-Sport Racing Lounge, anyone can take a seat in the cockpit of over 100 racing cars and drive on 20 of the world's most famous racetracks. Virtual driving fun has hardly ever been this realistic before - the professional simulators can be enjoyed in teams and groups, a new, unique experience for everyone, whether companies, customers, associations, clubs, groups of friends, individuals, etc.
A professional race director guides you through the adrenaline-filled event, which is rounded off with suitable racing catering.
Why an e-sports racing event location?
The part-owner of A Plus Reinigungen AG, Michel Bronner, is a passionate car fan himself and knows his way around the car scene. Having tested it himself at a car club event, he was immediately enthusiastic about e-sports racing. Together with his business partner, Ardian Kastrati, he decided to turn his hobby into a profession and offer his own SIM Racing Lounge in the vacant premises of his company.
The right target group is already in the building, as the A Plus company is well known to many car fans thanks to its car hotel and car care services.
Who is the event location suitable for?
The SIM Racing Lounge is all about fun and games. It is an action-packed alternative to the usual team events such as karting or bowling. It is therefore mainly aimed at companies, associations, clubs and customers. An event is possible for 5 or more people, but individual drivers are also welcome by arrangement.
The location is not a public gaming salon and sets itself apart from professional e-sports and gaming communities. However, professional motor sports enthusiasts can still use the venue for practice or training purposes on request.
What is e-sports sim racing?
Electronic sports (e-sports for short) and sim racing is realistic driving fun on professional simulators.
Driving on these simulators is very real, as the technical settings of over 100 vehicles are transferred to the simulator.
The difference between a Ferrari GT3 and a Ford GT40 or even a Formula 1 car is noticeable in many ways. Steering, speed and braking behavior are exactly like in a real vehicle.
How exactly does an event work?
Pre-booking is required to use the event location (open 365 days a year). This is possible for groups and individuals aged 16 and over. Five professional simulators are available in the lounge. A race is run directly against each other on the same track. Several qualifying laps are possible, which can be followed on a separate screen by the rest of the group.
A race usually lasts 15 minutes and is coordinated from a pit stop by a professional race director. The event is complemented by suitable racing catering.
Attractive for company, customer and club events
In addition to the SIM Lounge, there are other rooms available for side events in the A Plus company building. The rooms are equipped with flipcharts, pin boards, presentation cases and a large screen with touch function. This makes the location attractive for companies, as workshops and seminars can be held in addition to the fun of driving.
But the adjoining rooms are also suitable as a stopover during an outing with the automobile club or as a venue for a general meeting.
How much does an event cost?
An event lasts around four hours and costs CHF 180 per person (from 10 people). This includes supervision by the race director, driving on the simulator and drinks at the bar.
Racing catering (aperitif and wine) can be booked for an additional charge. For individual rides and small groups without catering, the simulators are available for CHF 90 per hour.
