A small Steyr Puch 500 from Upper Austria has conquered English hearts at Goodwood. The Festival of Speed combines glamor, luxury, high society and the world's most exclusive vehicles in Goodwood (England). A special highlight is the Concours d'Elégance "Style et Luxe - Cartier". Participation is a marriage that was also granted to Hermann Rittsteiger and his Steyr Puch 500. Only at the invitation of the Earl of March.
Off to Goodwood
And so the little "Knutschkugel" from Austria made its way to England.
The Steyr Puch 500 competed in the "Cheeky Cinquecento - 60 years of the Fiat 500" category and was judged by a renowned panel of experts. Among others, McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray, Mike Rutherford and Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson gave their expert opinion on the vehicles.
Hermann Rittsteiger's Steyr Puch 500 is the oldest Puch in the world. The vintage car with chassis number 3 was restored by Rittsteiger himself. Two years and around 1500 hours of work later, the Steyr Puch 500 shone in new splendor. The restoration and the first-class condition of the classic car also impressed the expert jury in Goodwood. Among numerous rarities and beauties, the vehicle won the prize in the category "Cheeky Cinquecento - 60 years of the Fiat 500".
