In the 1930s, a little Upper Austrian conquers the hearts of his homeland. No, we're not talking about him. The Steyr 50 was a peaceful, likeable, thoroughly red and white mobilizer. The last one that could say that about itself - the body and engine were genuine Austrian, so even the Puch Beute-Turiner, which was successful over twenty years later, had to take a back seat. The baby was not necessarily born in the sunniest days of this country. In 1936, people still had the Great Depression and civil war in their bones. Democracy is on leave for the time being and the neighboring country is already massively tanned, with an increasingly scattered effect across the border.
