Attention Swiss classic car fans! At the end of June 2019 (June 29 to 30, 2019), Dällikon ZH will once again be the place to be. On this weekend, the focus will be on cars that are at least 30 years old, with pre-war models receiving preferential treatment.
What is the program?
On Saturday there will be a corso for everyone with classic cars. This starts at 4 pm at Industrie Dällikon. The route leads via Regensdorf, Buchs, Otelfingen, Hüttikon and Dänikon back to Dällikon. No pre-registration is required here, but a road permit is required. Afterwards, there will be entertainment in the marquee with Dixieland jazz.
Sunday has a different theme. A circuit with a length of approx. 2.4 km will be marked out and secured for racing. There will again be a neutral zone, this time of 400m. Only walking pace is permitted here and the slower participants are required to allow themselves to be overtaken. According to the organizers, the circuit offers nice fast straights followed by 90-degree bends, so it will be exciting. However, there will be no timekeeping.
Further information
A maximum of 200 cars and 50 motorcycles will be admitted, registration is open immediately, provided the vehicles are not less than 30 years old. The closing date for entries is May 6, 2019, so there is still some time left. The entry fee is CHF 350 for four-wheelers and CHF 210 for two- and three-wheelers. The organizers reserve the right to make exceptions.
There will be 4 demonstration runs of 15 minutes each per class with groups of 10 to 20 vehicles on the circuit, but there will also be fun runs. Passengers are allowed to ride in these and the brands do not have to have a racing connection.
