Famous racing drivers, beautiful women and classic racing cars - highlights from 50 years of racing and Formula 1 history are on display in a photo exhibition at the cimmic photography gallery in Vienna.
Jochen Rindt's Brabham BT 23, the winning car from 1967, can be admired at the opening on September 17, 2014.
In the exhibition, the internationally renowned photographers Rainer W. Schlegelmilch and Werner Eisele show excerpts from their work and allow an exciting look behind the scenes of motor racing from the 1950s to the 1970s.
In cooperation with the Vienna Technical Museum, the cimmic photography gallery is also showing pictures from the archives of Artur Fenzlau and Erwin Jelinek, who have documented Austrian racing since the 1920s.
The exhibition can be visited in Vienna at Burggasse 43-45 from September 18 to October 24, 2014, Monday to Friday from 2 to 6 pm.
Further information can be found on the cimmic photography Gallery website.
