Every year, the auctions surrounding the Rétromobile Paris are among the European highlights of the auction calendar. The classic car fair itself has already been postponed to the summer, from June 2 to 6, 2021, but the auction houses are sticking to their auctions in Paris.
Artcurial with "La Parisienne"
The French auction house has renamed the February sale, which will take place in Paris on February 5, 2021, "La Parisienne". The previously announced Matra MS 670 (chassis 001), which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1972, will be offered for EUR 4 to 7.5 million.
This is joined by a Porsche 550 A Spyder from 1957 (chassis 0118), which is expected to go under the hammer for EUR 3.8 to 4.4 million.
Rally fans will be eagerly awaiting the auction of 7 Group B rally cars, including an Audi quattro S1, an MG Metro 6R4, a Renault 5 Turbo, a Peugeot 205 T16 and a Lancia 037, all of which were once driven by famous drivers.
For fans of classic British sports cars, the "Only British" line-up should be suitable, including a super-rare Aston Martin DB4 GT as well as sports cars from AC and Bristol.

The American auction house will be able to offer an extensive selection of super classics and specialties in Paris on February 13, 2020.
The Bentley 4½-Litre Supercharged Tourer from 1931, one of 50 supercharged 4.5-litre cars produced at the time, which is described as particularly original, should certainly be mentioned here.
Interesting is the collection of classic cars put together by an enthusiast, all of which were originally painted gold, including a Ferrari 365 GT/4 BB from 1974, of which only three were delivered in "Oro Chiaro".
There is also an attractive group of Lamborghini sports cars up for auction, including a Miura SV.
And for fans of Land Rovers built for the bigger stuff, there's also a pretty impressive group to buy.
Bonhams - great brands in the heart of Paris in March
The British auction house Bonhams is foregoing its appearance at the Grand Palais in 2021, but plans to hold a non-one-day online auction for the first time from March 3 to 10, 2021.
An Aston Martin DB4 Series II from 1960 (estimated value EUR 450,000 to 600,000), a Ferrari 512 BBi from 1987 (?) (estimated value EUR 160,000 to 200,000) and the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 from 1973 with chassis number 9113600313, which was once owned by Walter Röhrl (EUR 450,000 to 550,000).
