Between April 10 and 14, 2013, Volvo will be a guest at the 25th Techno Classica in Essen. The company from Scheden will be exhibiting under the slogan "Volvo - The Passion" and will be showing six special vehicles:
- Volvo TR679 from 1934 - seven-seater saloon in perfect condition
- Volvo PV445 from 1953 as a convertible and in beautiful red
- Volvo PV445 Ringborg pickup from 1954, a beautiful workhorse
- Ockelbo-Volvo Sport Racer from 1953, modeled after the Ferraris of the fifties
- Volvo P 1800 S from 1963, the only one that exists in the test color number 87
- Caresto Hot Rod Jakob Woody from 2009, a well-known vehicle with Volvo parts
With the exhibition, Volvo is also celebrating the fact that its cars have been exported to over 100 countries and that there is a great deal of interest and enthusiasm for the Swedish manufacturer's vehicles in all these countries.
