On October 12, 2025, Bonhams auctioned 74 automobiles, a boat, a dozen motorcycles and children's cars as well as some automobilia as part of the Zoute Grand Prix in Knokke.
The 75 vehicles (including the Riva boat) were estimated at a total of almost EUR 34 million, resulting in EUR 452,853 per lot.
40% of the vehicle lots will go under the hammer without a reserve price.
One third Ferrari and Porsche
On offer will be 14 Ferrari (including Dino), 12 Porsche, eight Aston Martin and five each of Alfa Romeo and Mercedes-Benz. In addition, there are vehicles from a further 21 brands, which are represented a maximum of four times.
While 60% of Alfa Romeo vehicles can be auctioned without a reserve price, this figure is 21% for Ferrari, 33% for Porsche and 38% for Aston Martin.
Maserati MC12 from first ownership
The flagship of the auction is a Maserati MC12 from 2005, one of 50 cars built and still in first ownership today. And it is not a show car, but has been used on the road, has covered over 45,000 km to date and has been serviced 13 times.
Now the Maserati will hopefully find another enthusiastic owner for EUR 3.4 to 4 million.
The second Porsche Carrera 6
The Porsche Carrera 6 from 1966 on offer has a completely different story to tell. Chassis number 906-017 is the second known 906, used by the factory as a test, demo and racing car. In 1966, this car finished sixth at Daytona with Herbert Linge and Hans Herrmann at the wheel.
Between 2008 and 2013 the car was restored at Freisinger Motorsport, now at least a major service should be carried out before the next outing, as the car has mainly been parked in the recent past. The estimate is EUR 1.6 to 2.2 million.
Rare Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8
Even rarer than the Carrera 6 is the Porsche 911 Carrera 2.8 RSR from 1973, as only 49 were built. The 30th car (chassis 9113600940) was delivered to Brumos and it is one of two cars painted black.
Peter Revson drove the car at the 100 miles of Lime Rock and finished sixth.
Now the race-ready car is said to cost EUR 1 to 1.5 million.
Beautiful Ferrari super classic portfolio
The Bonhams portfolio of beautiful Ferrari classics from the sixties and seventies is extensive.
Among others, two Daytona, one as a Spyder and one as a Plexi Coupé, will go under the hammer.
A 250 GT Lusso, a Dino 246 GTS and a 512 BB will also be auctioned, along with a number of other classics.
The F40 from 1991, which is looking for a new owner for EUR 2.6 to 2.9 million, is slightly younger in date but still significantly more expensive than the other classic Ferraris.
However, the most expensive Ferrari is significantly younger, as the Bonhams specialists have estimated EUR 3.3 to 3.6 million for the 2014 La Ferrari (with an ongoing factory warranty until 2026).
Of course, many super classics from other brands also come under the hammer at Bonhams. These include the Jaguar XK120 Alu Roadster from 1949, the Maserati Ghibli SS 4.9 from 1971 and the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster from 1959.
Younger cars too
A total of 15 cars going under the hammer in Knokke have not yet reached the classic car age (30 years).
This applies to the Italdesign Zerouno Coupé from 2018 as well as the BMW Z8 from 2001 (EUR 160,000 to 180,000, no reserve price).
A Lamborghini Diablo SV from 1999 is also on offer, as well as a DB11 from 2017 from Aston Martin and a Spyker C8 Spyder from 2005 (EUR 400,000 to 450,000, no reserve).
Another interesting car is the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nürburgring from 2002, which is expected to find a new owner for EUR 350,000 to 450,000.
It should perhaps be added that the most recent vehicle on offer is a Microlino, which is being auctioned off by the Belgian importer for a good cause with a special Smurf look.
