The Bernina Gran Turismo hill climb once again promises to be one of the best historic racing events of the 2020 season. This event will take place from September 17 - 20, 2020. A maximum of 80 starting places for vehicles up to the early 1980s are available for the race, which dates back to the event that was the highlight of the "International St. Moritz Automobile Weeks" in 1929 and 1930.
Bernina Pass is closed especially for the race
The magnificent 5.7 km route from La Rösa, at an altitude of 1,871 m, to the top of the pass at 2,330 m, challenges the drivers with 459 meters of altitude difference spread over more than 50 bends, but at the same time rewards them with a perfect road surface and therefore a unique driving experience.
The Bernina Pass is closed to public traffic especially for the race and the route is professionally prepared. In addition to a proper racing class, there is also a regularity class, which is no less attractive for participants.
Great spectacle - free of charge, of course
Visitors will find several attractive locations along the route or can follow the race up close in the start and finish area. Of course, there is no admission charge. The next race will take place from September 17 to 20, 2020. The Bernina Gran Turismo stands out above all for its friendly atmosphere, the top-class participants and the incomparable mountain scenery of the Engadin (where else can you experience historic formula cars against such an impressive mountain backdrop, for example?)
