The end of the classic car season is associated with emotions: the joy of having driven and presented the special vehicle for another season, but also a touch of melancholy about the long winter break. But special vehicles are like good friends: Even if you don't see each other for a while, you always have to work on the relationship. Before the historic beauties go into hibernation cleaned and cared for, their owners can present them one last time full of grace - at the new Retro Classics Bavaria from December 9 to 11, 2016 at the NürnbergMesse for the first time.
Exclusive vehicles from the Horch brand
The new classic car trade fair starts on December 9, 2016 and has beautiful international classics and German automotive luminaries - such as the exclusive vehicles of the Horch brand from Zwickau - in store for visitors. If you think about what German vehicles stand for, you think of mechanical skill, engineering and tradition. August Horch, a visionary in his industry, built his company August Horch & Cie. on these foundations in 1899. A few years later, he founded another now world-famous automobile company: Audi AG. His vision was to create vehicles that were indestructible. They are not indestructible, but the special aura that Horch vehicles exude, the high-gloss bodies and the magnificent interiors make them exceptional vehicles that are second to none, both then and now. The Horch 8 in particular became a byword for luxury, quality and sophisticated technology. Horch also set international standards.
At Retro Classics Bavaria, the golden age of the Horch company will be revived in the form of a special show with beautifully restored vehicles. These include a fantastic Horch 930 Cabriolet, a Horch 780 Sportcabriolet from 1932, a faithful reproduction of a Horch 853 "Manuela" and an impressive Horch 670 Cabriolet, of which only 58 were produced.
Love for classic cars
Retro Classics Bavaria, based on the concept of Retro Classics in Stuttgart, will become a hub for classic and vintage car enthusiasts and the international collector scene. Not only German vehicles, but the whole range of international classic cars, special shows, a large vehicle sales market and the beautiful lifestyle that goes hand in hand with the love of classic cars make Retro Classics Bavaria extremely attractive for both visitors and exhibitors. The new classic car fair is already very promising due to its proximity to the countries of the EU's eastward expansion, the international audience and the strong demand for exhibition space, and is an excellent starting point for making contacts.
But let's be honest, we all feel the same way when we see a classic car: our pulse quickens and our eyes start to light up. And anyone who still claims that classic cars have nothing to do with love has probably never seen one up close.
