The Arosa ClassicCar celebrates its 10th anniversary and will take place from September 11 - 14, 2014.
Like last year, the popular hill climb with timekeeping will be held as an Arosa ClassicCar Hill Climb event and without timekeeping as a performance demonstration under the name Alpine Performance.
The participants will compete in four classes:
- 1st Alpine Performance event as a performance demonstration without timekeeping, without scoring/classification and without ranking.
- 2. Arosa ClassicCar Uniformity, scoring mode 1 event only for vehicles built from 1947 onwards with timekeeping. Double penalty points for an average speed of over 80 km/h.
- 3. Arosa ClassicCar regularity, scoring mode 2 Event for vehicles built in 1912 or later, with timekeeping. No specification of an average speed.
- 4th Arosa ClassicCar Competition/Racing event for vehicles built in 1912 or later, with timekeeping. Driving against the clock. The participant with the lowest total time from 3 of 4 runs wins. Real racing is offered here, as only a few events make it possible.
Depending on the class, different framework conditions must be observed with regard to the driver's license and the necessary car pass. If you just want to have fun and drive smoothly up the mountain, choose "Alpine Performance", if you want to compete with others, choose one of the other classes.
Registration is now open on the Arosa ClassicCar Hill Climb website. The regulations valid for 2014 can also be viewed there.
