The first Gaisberg race took place in 1929, exactly 95 years ago. And in 2024, the "Gaisberg Race for Historic Vehicles" will be organized for the 20th time. That's something to celebrate!
As always, the event, which runs from May 30 to June 1, 2024, consists of a city Grand Prix in Salzburg, a rally through the Salzkammergut, special stages on the Gaisberg and regularity drives on the Salzburgring.
The opening evening at the Zistelalm, the gala dinner at Hellbrunn Palace and the closing evening at Hangar 7 have also been part of the popular standard program for years.
The "young summit strikers" will be particularly celebrated in 2024. If the driver and co-driver of a car are less than 35 years old, they can take part for EUR 1000, but places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
In cooperation with the company P1 Performance Fuels, an agreement has been reached that enables participants to ride CO2-neutral (on a voluntary basis).
