On May 28 and 29, 2022, Alpine fans will meet in Dieppe (Haute-Normandie, France) to celebrate the 100th birthday of Jean Rédélé.
1000 Alpine cars and their owners are expected. More than 750 are already registered.
Alpine will participate in the event as a brand to surprise fans with absolute novelties and more.
In honor of its founder, the Alpine A110 will be unveiled in a special livery.
100 years of Rédélé
Jean Rédélé, founder and "father" of the Alpine brand, would have been 100 years old this year. In his honor, a large gathering is being held at Alpine's historic industrial site in Dieppe. At the suggestion of Luca de Meo, CEO of the Renault Group, the traditional production site in the north of France has recently been renamed Manufacture Alpine Jean Rédélé de Dieppe.
A thousand (1000!) Alpine cars of all generations are expected on the manicured lawns by the sea on May 28 and 29.
At this event, participants and visitors will experience and discover the historic moments of the Alpine brand. An exhibition displays personal items and memorabilia from Jean Rédélé. They will also be part of a unique Alpine parade through the streets of Dieppe.
Registrations are currently still possible. Anyone who owns an Alpine can take part, from the very first models of the 1950s to the latest versions of the A110.
With prominent guests
Jean Rédélé's family will also be taking part in this weekend of emotions and encounters with the Alpine brand. Many personalities who are part of Alpine's history and have shaped the brand over the past 60 years have also been announced. The drivers and co-drivers Biche, Marcel Callewaert, Jacques Cheinisse, Bernard Darniche, Christian Ethuin, Guy Fréquelin, Vincent Lavergne, Michel Leclère, Bob Neyret, Jean-Pierre Nicolas, Alain Serpaggi, Jean Vinatier, Michel Vial will be there, as well as Antony Villain, Jean-Pascal Dauce, Pierre Sancinéna and Laurent Hurgon, who have contributed to the success of the new Alpine A110.
By enthusiasts for enthusiasts
The collective IDÉA (Initiative Dieppe Événements Alpine) was founded to organize the event. It brings together the Association des Anciens Alpine (AAA), the Club Alpine Dieppe (CAD) and the Club Alpine Usine de Dieppe (CAUD).
Alpine will make its contribution to this great celebration open to the public with the spectacular Alpine A522 (F1) and the presentation of a brand new A110 in a completely new version.
