The Borgward P 100, introduced in 1959 (without air suspension) and 1960 (with air suspension), was Carl F. W. Borgward's final entry into the luxury class. The car was greeted with much praise in advance, so readers of the specialist publications were naturally all the more eager to see detailed test results. Automobil Revue worked for months on a long-distance test, but this was never published due to the discontinuation of production in connection with Borgward's bankruptcy. In this report, the history of this long-distance test is unrolled and all available fragments - test notes, test data, photos, etc. - are reproduced. - are reproduced. Interesting not only for Borgward fans.
