Coys also held an auction at the Techno Classica in Essen on March 24, 2012. Anyone who had looked at the vehicles on offer before the auction would certainly have noticed the ATS 2500 GTS from 1963, but also the Bentley Le Mansand even a BMW M1 is not offered every day. ATS and Bentley Le Mans not sold Despite the highest bid of € 380,000, the ATS 2500 GTS was just as unlikely to find a buyer as the Bentley Le Mans, for which nobody wanted to pay more than € 190,000. They shared their fate with the Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible, a Jaguar E Type Series 1 1/2, the Jaguar SS 100, the Mercedes-Benz 220 S Cabriolet and the Ferrari Mondial from 1989. Two vehicles were no longer for sale that evening, namely the Porsche 356 Speedster and the Jaguar Mk V Drophead Coupé.
