In the early 1960s, ATS was the name of the company "Automobili Turismo Sport SpA". With the ATS 2500 GT and 2500 GTS, an innovative mid-engined vehicle was presented in 1963, which had good facilities and an attractive design, but was never fully completed in detail. All too soon the brand went bankrupt just one year later, less than a dozen vehicles were built, some survived. This report summarizes the brief history of ATS and describes the ATS 2500 GT/GTS in detail in words and pictures.
